HIGH QUALITY TRAINING &
HANDS-ON PROGRAMS

DFA works with professionals and educators in the industry to create hands-on, immersive programs. Curriculum, equipment, and software are continuously updated and improved to benefit students.
Whether you are interested in taking an entry level filmmaking course to find out if film or digital media is the career choice for you, an advanced program to improve the necessary skills to begin working in the industry, or if you need to create a portfolio to apply for a Masters program at a University, DFA has a program to fit your goals, schedule and budget.
Students have many opportunities to work with equipment and to advance their skills with projects and assignments designed by professionals to replicate real life situations.

UNLIMITED LAB TIME

Only DFA has unlimited use of equipment and computer labs with up to date professional softwares. This is the key to your success and it’s in your hands… so use it! When you enroll in a Filmmaking Program or Digital Media Program, you may also receive two to four weeks of additional lab time after course completion, to finish working on any class projects or to edit your final project. The time you spend in DFA’s labs, during or after your course completion, equals more practice, better proficiency and greater skill development.

CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR GRADUATES
CAREER GOALS

DFA supports student and Alumni career goals by providing them opportunities for work through our Jobs Board. We also encourage them to maintain contact with the school’s staff even upon graduation, so we can always try to share their most recent work and highlight their achievements.

SMALL CLASS SIZES

DFA limits class sizes to between 10 and 15 students. Most classes average between 6 to 12 students. This means you will have more time using the equipment and more one-on-one time with your instructor.
